Attention Residents & Contractors

Sylvan Township requires residents to have a rocked entrance for access to a property when in the construction phase of building off of a Township Road.

Sylvan Township requires Driveway Permits prior to the construction of a driveway that enters onto a Township Road.

Sylvan Township requires Permits for all Commercial or Home Based Businesses within the Township.

Sylvan Township requires businesses and individuals working in a Township Road Right-Away to have a permit.

Sylvan Township adheres to all Cass County Ordinances and cannot support being less Restrictive then they are. All Cass County Ordinances can be found on their website.
